Job loss and financial strain takes a toll on couples during MCO

FINANCIAL problems leading to abuse and conflicts among couples are prevalent ever since the Covid-19 pandemic started.

Acknowledging that although relationship issues existed prior to Covid-19, couple-related problems these days were centred on finances, said MCA Legal Advisory and Women’s Aid Centre (Lawa) partner from Persatuan Kebajikan Maha Malaysia council adviser Sung Yeow Swee.
