Malaysia Deaf Games postponed to July


The Johor contingent will be competing in all five categories in the upcoming 21st Malaysia Deaf Games, namely badminton, futsal, football, bowling as well as athletics.

JOHOR BARU: A total of 120 deaf athletes and delegates will be representing Johor in the 21st Malaysia Deaf Games (Sopma), set to take place in July next year.

Johor Deaf Sports Association (JSDeaf) president Chan Kok Sheng said via sign language that the Sopma games was supposed to take place in June this year but had been postponed to July 11 until July 17 next year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
