Long wait for Orang Seletar to get concrete jetty


Kampung Bakar Batu Perling’s wooden jetty is dilapidated and villagers are appealing to Johor government to build a concrete one.

JOHOR BARU: The Orang Seletar villagers, also known as Orang Laut, in Kampung Bakar Batu Perling are hoping the Johor government will build a concrete jetty in their village near here.

Village head Tok Batin Kais Tee, 57, said the concrete jetty was needed to replace the existing floating wooden jetty that was dilapidated.
