Batu Arang wet market safer after slope stabilisation works

Slope reinforcement and drainage upgrading work were carried out behind the Batu Arang wet market and MPS food court.

TRADERS and shoppers at the Batu Arang wet market in Rawang, Selangor now have a safer environment, thanks to upgrading works to reinforce the slope it sits on.

The slope suffered a landslip more than five years ago and the long-standing problem has now been mitigated by drainage works to control water flow.
