WITH his eyes keenly studying the shape and structure of each petal and his body as still as a mountain, Clement Ooi, 31, makes a stroke with a pencil in his right hand.

It would be the first of many as he begins a sketch for a painting that will end up in the gallery at United Voices — the country’s first non-governmental organisation (NGO) to be run by persons with learning disabilities.
