PENANG, the first state to implement the 30% requirement for women in village community management councils (MPKK) in 2017, should set new standards in promoting female representation in other sectors.
Deputy Chief Minister l Datuk Ahmad Zakiyuddin Abdul Rahman said increased representation would lead to more voices of women being heard and open up new avenues in support of their needs.
