JOHOR BARU: The Civil Defence Force (APM) sent 300 volunteers to undergo a training and re-training rescue course in preparation for this year’s monsoon season.

Johor APM director Kolonel Kamal Mokhtar said that volunteers must go through 12 hours of training a week on various modules such as boat handling, water rescue, and temporary relief centre (PPS) management and maintenance.
