Thanks to sunny skies, high tide phenomenon came and went without incident

Only a section of Jalan Syahbandar outside the South Port Terminal in Port Klang is filled with shallow water during the high tide, earlier this morning.

PORT KLANG: People living along Selangor’s coast heaved a sigh of relief as the high tide phenomenon earlier Saturday (Sept 19) morning occurred without an incident.

Selangor Disaster Management Unit (SDMU) said the tide rose to a maximum of 5.7m but the waters along the coastal areas of Selangor were much calmer and in most places the waters did not breach the bunds as there was no rain as forecasted.
