THE Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM) is urging the government to have a national dementia plan to address the needs of the nation’s growing ageing population.

“People are now able to live longer, but they are also more susceptible to certain diseases, such as non-communicable diseases, cancer and dementia,” said ADFM executive committee chairman Datuk Dr Yim Khai Kee.
