EVEN though both Penang Island City Council (MBPP) and Seberang Prai City Council (MBSP) recorded a standard operating procedure compliance rate of more than 99%, more stringent measures have to be adopted now in view of the recent re-emergence of Covid-19 cases in Penang.

State local government committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said Penang would do whatever it takes to make the state a green zone again, apart from adopting suggestions by the Health Ministry.
