Retailer supports home-grown brands through campaign

Customers can look forward to discounts of up to 25% on over 30 selected local products across four categories during the ‘Proudly Made in Malaysia’ campaign this month.

THIS month, Mr DIY celebrates home-grown brands with its “Proudly Made in Malaysia” campaign.

The home improvement retailer aims to support the government’s efforts in encouraging more Malaysians to shop locally through its campaign.

It also aims to encourage the public to be proud of local products in conjunction with Malaysia Day.

Additionally, customers can look forward to discounts of up to 25% on over 30 selected local products across four categories, namely hardware, household, stationery and car accessories.

Malaysian products on discount include household brands such as Elianware, Lava, Felton, Waxco, Rayaco and Mr DIY. They offer water bottles, lunch boxes, stainless steel mugs, mops, brooms, rubbish bins, clothes hangers, tool boxes, storage boxes, toilet seats, car-boot trays, car care products and notebooks.

Mr DIY marketing vice-president Andy Chin said: “As a retailer, Mr DIY has always endeavoured to support Malaysians by keeping true to our promise of providing them with good quality products at ‘Always Low Prices’.

“Our latest branding campaign ‘Kita Jaga Harga Kita -– Termurah Demi Rakyat Malaysia’ is a reflection of this commitment to our fellow Malaysians.

“We laud the government’s initiatives to boost domestic spending among Malaysians. We hope to inspire local manufacturers, distributors and retailers to lend their support to home-grown brands, products and services.”

Mr DIY will showcase the wide range of Malaysian brands in its stores nationwide and on its online platform,
