PENANG is aiming to harness the economic power of the art and culture industries, said state tourism, arts, culture and heritage committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin.

Yeoh said the state planned to catapult the arts sector to greater heights by giving artists, cultural practitioners and other key players wider roles to play.
