Water supply in city to be fully restored by Wednesday (Aug 26)


KUALA LUMPUR: Five areas the district here are experiencing an unscheduled water disruption due to a burst pipe incident at Pudu Ulu Baru, Jalan Semerah Padi, Kuala Lumpur on Monday night (Aug 24).

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said the water supply was cut off at midnight to facilitate repair works.

The affected areas are; Kampung Pandan Luar (Jalan 1 until Jalan 8), Taman Maluri, Desa Pandan, Taman Maju Jaya and Taman Pudu Impian.

"Repair works are expected to be completed by 10am Tuesday (Aug 25). However, water supply is only expected to be fully restored by 10am Wednesday (Aug 26)," said Air Selangor corporate communications head Elina Baseri in a statement.

"Lorry tankers have been mobilised to provide water to affected areas. Affected users can also call 15300 to get water supply."

Updates on the restoration of water supply will be available on Air Selangor's social media platforms, www.airselangor.com and Air Selangor mobile app.
