MELAKA: It is not often that you see a state leader ditch his official vehicle to ride the motorcycle of his teenage dreams, but that is precisely what Melaka Chief Minister Sulaiman Md Ali did.

During a visit to Paya Mengkuang at Masjid Tanah last week, he borrowed a villager’s Yamaha RXZ, which was a popular machine launched in the late 1980s, to ride around and relive his “kampung boy” past.
