2,000ha earmarked for recreational use

Some 2,070ha of land has been allocated for recreational use in Kuala Lumpur, of which about 966ha has already been gazetted while another 1,034ha will be gazetted under the Kuala Lumpur City Plan 2020.

About 68ha which have been gazetted as forest reserve include Bukit Nenas, Bukit Sungai Putih, Bukit Sungai Besi and Bukit Lagong Tambahan.
