Ampang Jaya council comes down hard on businesses that violate SOP


Hamid says very few essential businesses complied with the SOP in Ampang Jaya.

AMPANG Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) has ordered the closure of 92 businesses, including 75 selling essential items, for not complying with the standard operating procedures (SOP) under the recovery movement control order (MCO).

Checks on essential businesses were carried out on 1,276 premises from June 10 to July 21, while operations involving 867 non-essential businesses were conducted between June 10 and July 22.
