SIBU: Sarawak Malaysian Armed Forces Veteran Association believes that the RM3,000 funeral aid needs to be increased to reflect the rising cost of living.
Its president Francis Yeo said the amount was not enough for the widow or next-of-kin of the ex-serviceman who died to cover all funeral expenses.
