Group gives away laptops to needy students

SOROPTIMIST International Penang (SIP) presented 45 laptops worth RM20,300 to the needy students of nine schools in Penang.

SIP president Michele Lim said the SIP Laptop Project was launched in May after the Covid-19 pandemic had compelled schools to temporarily close in the country.
