Residents staying in flats in Taman Tun Perak, Cheras, are calling for the authorities to resolve a host of problems they are facing.

Among them are potholes and faulty streetlights.

Pangsapuri Wira resident Khairulnizan Omar said Jalan Tun Perak 1 and Persiaran Tun Perak were riddled with potholes.

“After the roads are patched up, the potholes reappear soon after.”

He said that fellow residents from the flats and his friends living in the area had complained to Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) several times.

Siva Kumar Gobindasamy who had complained of faulty streetlights, said MPKj should not ignore the problems.

Bangi MCA Public Complaints Bureau head Tan Chee Teong, in a press conference, highlighted the matter on behalf of residents.

When contacted, Balakong assemblyman Wong Siew Ki said residents could reach her at 03-9076 0331 and via www.facebook.com/wongsiewki
