KUALA TERENGGANU: Edamame or immature soybean (locally known as kacang bulu) is not a familiar crop to the locals here but the bean which originated from Japan has potential for lucrative returns due to high demand.
Agropreneur Muhammad Fahmi Ismail, 27, said he began his edamame project in 2016, after realising its potential and to increase his revenue.
