City developer SkyWorld Development Group has once again set a record through its SkyAwani 2 development located off Jalan Ipoh in Kuala Lumpur.
The Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) crowned the property with a notable QLASSIC score of 79% — the highest rating within the Residensi Wilayah category in Malaysia.
The Quality Assessment System for Building Construction Works (QLASSIC) is an independent
method to assess and evaluate primarily the quality of workmanship of building projects based on Construction Industry Standard.
A high QLASSIC score denotes that a building is better constructed and achieves a higher quality of workmanship. Currently, the practice is entirely voluntary.
SkyWorld chief operating officer Lee Chee Seng said, “We are further motivated as a team to craft high-quality developments upon receiving the news of SkyAwani 2 being awarded the highest QLASSIC score for the Residensi Wilayah Category.
“This milestone reflects the consistency that the group has committed to in construction quality for all its developments across the board.”
He said that despite the pandemic, the company’s drive had not weakened and they still strove to produce affordable properties that catered to the demands of prospective property purchasers.
“This was reflected in the RM300mil in transactions achieved in Q1 of 2020 in the wake of Covid-19.
“We will use this achievement as a benchmark, to create new heights in the property industry, ” he added.
Lee said that in Malaysia, approximately 7,600 projects were completed yearly.
“Out of which, merely 4.1% are QLASSIC certified. So, when one considers a SkyWorld home, you can rest assure that we are among the select few (top 4%) to meet this standard.
“We are determined to employ quality to set us apart from the rest, as we believe that all property owners are entitled to affordable homes that will truly stand the test of time, ” he said.
SkyAwani 2 boasts all of SkyWorld strengths, which include good potential appreciation value nestled within an unmatched location.
Houseowners of the leasehold development get exclusive access to facilities such as infinity lap pool, floating gym, multi-purpose hall complete with interior design, a reflective pool and sunken jacuzzi.
As of now, SkyAwani 2 is fully sold.
Those who missed out on the earlier-launched SkyAwani series need not fret as the developer will soon release the final block --- SkyAwani 4.
Prices start from RM300,000 for a three-bedroom and two-bathroom 800sq ft unit.
The RM534mil development encases 1,782 units shared across three 55-storey towers and is targeted at fitness enthusiasts as it fronts a 0.4ha park featuring jogging and cycling tracks and a blossom park.
