THE private sector should help the Penang government by giving waivers on rent and providing incentives during the recovery movement control order (MCO).

State international and domestic trade, consumers affairs and entrepreneurship development committee chairman Datuk Abdul Halim Hussain said there was a limit on what the state could do to help shop tenants, adding that any assistance from other parties would be helpful.
