SIBU: Police will not hesitate to issue a compound of RM1,000 to punters if they are caught defying the health and safety measures put in place during the recovery movement control order (MCO) when buying numbers at gaming outlets.

Sibu district deputy OCPD Supt Collin Babat said compounds could also be issued to 4D outlet operators under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures Within the Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2020.
