More waste produced during the MCO


JOHOR BARU: The volume of waste produced in Johor during the conditional movement control order (MCO) showed an increase as certain economic activities were allowed to resume operations after a hiatus.

Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation Sdn Bhd (SWCorp) Johor director Cairul Hisham Jalaluddin said 2,555.22 tonnes of waste were produced daily during the conditional MCO from May 4 to June 9.
