Sibu dog owners urged to get pets vaccinated against rabies

SIBU: Pet owners here have been told to be more responsible for their dogs after 10 more areas in the town were declared rabies-infected.

Sarawak’s State Disaster Management Committee had on June 13 declared that Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Lorong Permai Timur, Kampung Bahagia Jaya Teku, Sibujaya, Mile 1/2 Jalan Oya, Jalan Hua Khiew, Ulu Sungai Merah, Taman Sanhill Barat, Jalan Oya Lama and Jalan Sentosa were now categorised as infected areas.
