KAMPUNG Sungai Penchala is scheduled to undergo flood mitigation works this year, although the project has been delayed because of the movement control order (MCO).

“The village is prone to floods because it sits on lower land. There is a tendency for water and sediment from higher ground to be swept downward here when there is a downpour, ” said Segambut MP Hannah Yeoh.
