Landfill’s completion a must

JOHOR BARU: There should be no delay in proceeding with the Bukit Payung sanitary landfill project as it is critical to meet the state’s waste disposal needs, says the Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation Sdn Bhd (SWCorp).

Johor SWCorp director Cairul Hisham Jalaluddin said the project located in Batu Pahat, about 130km from here, was approved by the Housing and Local Government Ministry during the Pakatan Harapan administration.
