Tiffin programme helps women earn some money


JOHOR BARU: The Johor Empowerment of Intellectual Women Association (Jeiwa) is offering a platform for women to become entrepreneurs and help them face challenging times during the movement control order (MCO).

Its president Nor Fadilah Mohamed Nizar said the programme called Tiffin Jeiwa Agent Programme (Teja) was introduced to help participants generate income by selling tiffin online.

She said Teja came under Jeiwa Global Resources, the economic arm of Jeiwa, set up to help women specifically in economic matters and operated based on the social enterprise model.
