Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) is facing a budget crunch, as its income has been badly hit by the Covid-19 outbreak and movement control order (MCO).
Its president Datuk Abdul Hamid Hussain said the council’s revenue had dropped by over RM2mil to-date, forcing MPAJ to prioritise expenses, including the disbursement of councillors’ allocation.
