More than 3,000 dengue cases recorded in Kajang

The total number of dengue cases reported in areas under the purview of Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) stands at 3,165, with two deaths as of May 2.

MPKj president Datuk Zulkefli Khalid, speaking at the council’s full board meeting, said of the 53 localities where the outbreak was detected, five hotspots (outbreak lasting for more than 30 days) had been identified – Kajang, Sungai Ramal, Balakong, Dusun Tua and Semenyih.
