A GROUP is demanding that the public hearing submission deadline for an incinerator plant at the Jeram Sanitary Landfill in Kuala Selangor be postponed by six weeks after the end of movement control order (MCO).
In a phone interview, Gabungan Anti-Insinerator Kebangsaan (GAIK) coordinator Lee Chong Tek said they objected to the June 5 deadline given by the Environment Department (DOE) as it would exclude some members of the public from reviewing the environment impact assessment (EIA) report.
