THE Penang government will ensure clogged drains are cleared as part of its effort to reduce flash floods during the rainy season.
State local government committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said 869 out of the 1,900 frontliners in Penang Island City Council (MBPP) had been tasked to keep the drains clean.
