Several of the homeless people at the homeless shelter in Sentul Perdana, Kuala Lumpur, were interviewed for jobs under the Federal Territories Ministry's Career Preparation Programme.
ABOUT 300 of Kuala Lumpur's homeless will be provided with jobs with nine employers coming on board under the Federal Territories Ministry's Career Preparation Programme.
Companies that have joined the initiative include Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd, Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd, Harumi Brands Sdn Bhd, Top Glove Sdn Bhd, Tesco Malaysia and Trendcell Sdn Bhd.
