The government’s move to rescind its decision to allow barbers as well as hair and beauty salons to operate during the third phase of the movement control order (MCO) from April 15 to 28 has had some taking matters into their own hands at home.
StarMetro recently spoke to a few Malaysians who resorted to honing their haircutting skills to ensure their family members remain well groomed.

Wong, who has 18 years of experience as a hairstylist, has posted a tutorial on social media for first-timers. This photo was taken at his salon before the MCO came into effect on March 18.
