THE food waste recycling pilot project at the Batu Maung Waste Transfer Station is going well and may see an island-wide rollout in two years’ time.
Penang Island City Council (MBPP) chief assistant environmental health officer Mohd Zamzuri Hussain said biogas was currently being produced at 3.4litres a minute at the Biogas Pilot Plant.
