FACTORY operator Syed Amirul Naim Syed Mohd Naguib’s family had a harrowing experience when strong winds ripped off the roofing of their house in Kepala Batas, Penang.

The 32-year-old said he was picking pandan leaves outside the house when he noticed the whirling wind slamming into the neighbourhood.
