THE Kedah Zakat Board (LZNK) will distribute RM16.91mil in tithe aid in conjunction with Ramadan to the asnaf (tithe recipients) and other recipients in the state.
Kedah State Secretary Datuk Ammar Shaikh Mahmood Naim said the assistance was approved by Sultan of Kedah Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah to help the group go through fasting with ease and to bring some cheer.
