MPK confiscates goods from unlicensed trader

MPK enforcement employees seized about 100 chickens kept in plastic crates from a shop in Meru.

Klang Muncipal Council (MPK) seized almost 100 chickens from a trader in Meru, Klang, for selling the birds without a trading licence.

MPK secretary Elya Marini Darmin said the council’s health inspectors were on patrol to ensure commercial areas complied with phase three of the movement control order (MCO) when they spotted a provision shop having bread racks and rattan baskets of onions, ginger and garlic placed outside its premises.
