Excess vegetables at market go to waste

Workers were seen throwing away basketfuls of vegetables due to oversupply.

THERE is oversupply of vegetables to the Kuala Lumpur Wholesale Market in Batu Caves following the order to close night markets and morning roadside markets due to the movement control order (MCO).

Vegetables that arrive at the market were ordered prior to the MCO and now there are no buyers.
