THE atmosphere was intense at Aman Central Mall in Alor Setar, Kedah, as the three shortlisted shoppers held their breath, hoping to pick the correct key which could win them a brand new Ford Ranger XLT Plus worth RM125,000.

In the end it was assistant accountant Sariza Abdul Nasir from neighbouring Kuala Perlis, who won the car, after she picked the correct key hidden in a box at the recent event.

Known as the ‘Drive Me Home’ campaign, shoppers were entitled to an entry with a minimum spending of RM200 in a single receipt from any of the outlets at Aman Central Mall.

Prior to determining the grand prize winner during the prize presentation ceremony, numbers were drawn for shortlisted participants by representatives of the campaign’s partners.

The competition, which ran from Oct 24,2019 to Feb 23, in conjunction with the mall’s fourth anniversary, was a much grander one with more tenants taking part, and 71 prizes given away.

Prizes included return flight tickets to Great Britain, luggage sets, a massage chair, leather goods, a year’s supply of rice, vouchers and many more.

Strategic partners and tenants included Auto Gallery Cartrade, Ford, Cosas United, Carlo Rino, Osim, Tomei, Digi, Medi Beaute, ecoBrown, Bath and Body Works, and Victoria’s Secret.

The competition was a way to reward the shoppers for their loyalty and continuous support.

Aman Central had partnered for the third time with JM Auto Gallery (Alor Setar) Sdn Bhd’s and their sister company Auto Gallery Cartrade.

Prior to the prize presentation, there was a thrilling performance by the Sultan Abdul Hamid College Drumline followed by the ceremony launch by state youth and sports, tourism, culture, art and heritage, and entrepreneurship development committee chairman Mohd Asmirul Anuar Aris.

Also present were Belleview Group managing director and Aman Central owner Datuk Sonny Ho and the mall’s senior marketing communications manager Ken Chin.
