JOHOR BARU: The closing of the two land crossings with Singapore has caused significant economic losses to the state but the move is seen as necessary to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad said they were now in “unchartered territory” as the Johor Causeway had never been closed, even during the SARS outbreak in 2003.
