Car buyer wins new wheels

The 17 winners of the Naza Kia Malaysia ‘More Ong, More Huat’ Chinese New Year contest celebrating their good luck.

A FATHER of two celebrated his double prosperity after collecting the key to his brand-new Kia Picanto, the grand prize of the Naza Kia Malaysia “More Ong, More Huat” Chinese New Year campaign.

Lew Chee Yuan, 39, qualified to enter the contest through his recent purchase of a Kia Sportage GT-Line, and with Lady Luck on his side, Lew’s name was also drawn from the pool of entries for a weekly prize, winning a Touch ‘N Go card worth RM200.

“I really did not expect to win the grand prize, especially since I already won the weekly prize,” Lew said.

“This is really great timing as my wife was planning to get a new car. I still cannot believe that I won a Kia Picanto!”

A project manager in a construction company, Lew who travels 200km six days a week for work, decided to purchase the Kia Sportage GT-Line as he was impressed by its safety features, stylish exterior and five-star safety rating.

“While doing my research, I found that the Kia Sportage has a complete range of safety features. I was convinced that this car would be the best for my family and I,” Lew added.

Present at the prize-giving ceremony was Naza Kia Malaysia chief operating officer Amanda Ng.

“Naza Kia is always seeking opportunities to enhance the holistic Kia customer experience and I am pleased to share that there was tremendous response for the contest.

“Kia fans can look forward to more customer engagement activities in the near future,” said Ng.

The campaign was held from Jan 7 to Feb 29. Owners of any Kia vehicle registered during the campaign period were entitled to participate to win the grand prize of a Kia Picanto.

Naza Kia Malaysia also gave out eight petrol vouchers for monthly winners worth RM1,000 while another eight weekly winners won Touch ‘N Go cards worth RM200 each.

The winners were selected from the pool of qualified entries recorded throughout the campaign through a random draw.

To spread double prosperity to its customers, winners of the weekly or monthly prizes also stood a chance of winning the grand prize.
