Education fair cancelled, expo and run postponed

THE Star Education Fair 2020, which was slated for March 21 and 22 at Setia SPICE Convention Centre, has been cancelled in light of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The management of Star Media Group Berhad made the decision based on advice from the Health Ministry to ensure the safety of all exhibitors and visitors.

Meanwhile, the Star Health Expo 2020 and Star Health Fun Run 2020, which were scheduled for March 20 and 21, have been similarly postponed.

The two-day expo will now be held at Setia SPICE Convention Centre on June 20 and 21 instead while the run will be flagged off at Setia SPICE Arena on June 21.

The fun run race kit collection is scheduled on June 19 and 20.

The event organiser said in a statement that the postponement was due to virus concerns.

Participants who have registered for the run but are unable to make it on the new date in June may seek a full refund.

The organiser said emails had been sent out to participants on the matter with an attached form to fill up should they require a refund.
