RM37,000 paid out under self-employment scheme

JOHOR BARU: The Social Security Organisation (Socso) paid out more than RM37,000 in compensation last year under the Self-Employment Social Security Scheme.

Its Johor director Tong Sing Chuang said in 2019, Socso handled 31,512 claims, with a total payment of RM1.5mil made to recipients and beneficiaries.
