Health expo and run postponed due to virus fears

THE Star Health Expo 2020 and Star Health Fun Run 2020 which were scheduled for March 20 and 21 have been postponed in view of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The two-day expo will now be held at Setia SPICE Convention Centre on June 20 and 21 instead while the run will be flagged off at Setia SPICE Arena on June 21.

The fun run race kit collection is scheduled on June 19 and 20.

The event organiser said in a statement that the postponement was due to the current global health concerns about the virus.

“The health and safety of our visitors and runners are of utmost priority.

“The decision to postpone had to be made to avoid any potential risk.”

Participants who have registered for the run but are unable to make it on the new date in June may seek a full refund.

The organiser said emails had been sent out to the participants on the matter with an attached form to fill up should they require a refund.
