Equipping more council staff with first aid skills


Council staff learning how to perform CPR during the certification session held at Penang Youth Centre in Lebuh Acheh, George Town.

SOME 30 Penang Island City Council staff members took part in a Basic Occupational First Aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (automated external defibrillator) certification session.

The training course was an initiative by the council to help its staff become competent first aiders while on duty, especially during sports events.
