Sungai Muar becoming saltier

MUAR: The district is unable to supply more water to Melaka from its present capacity as this will lead to a water crisis here.

National Water Services Commission (SPAN) commissioner Steven Choong said that presently Johor was supplying around 200 million litres per day (MLD) of raw water from Sungai Muar to the Durian Tunggal Dam in Melaka.
