It is touted as the first postpaid plan in Malaysia that offers consumers the flexibility to choose their preferred Internet experience based on their usage preference.
The plan offers access to either unlimited mobile Internet quota or lightning mobile Internet speed on the nation’s widest network.
The demand for more Internet quota has been rapidly increasing over the years as more and more content is available on the Internet.
There are two rising demands — “unlimited Internet” and “fast Internet speeds”.
The Celcom Mega postpaid plan was designed with flexibility and freedom in mind, allowing consumers to choose their desired Internet experience, with additional features.
One of Mega’s innovative features allows consumers to trade in their unused Internet quota for cashback at the end of each billing cycle.
This first-of-its-kind offering allows unutilised Internet quota to be traded in for cashback via Boost e-wallet, with 10GB equivalent to RM5 cashback.
Celcom Mega base postpaid plan comes with 30GB Internet quota for only RM80 per month with unlimited calls to all networks.
Consumers have the freedom to choose add-ons for additional benefits, either from the unlimited mobile Internet or lightning mobile Internet speed “a la carte menu”.
With unlimited mobile Internet starting at an additional RM18 per month, consumers who desire worry-free, consistent and constant Internet access, can enjoy unlimited Internet quota specifically catered to enhanced streaming experiences, such as full access to unlimited full high definition, gaming, content creation and high-quality music streaming.
Also with an additional RM18 per month, consumers can choose lightning mobile Internet speed with whopping amounts of Internet quota and high-speed Internet access.
The key feature of lightning mobile Internet speed is that unused Internet quota can be traded-in for cashback via Boost’s e-wallet.
It also offers free roaming in 12 countries, on the highest plan at RM188.
Consumers can also opt to share their Internet quota up to three supplementary lines by adding family lines at only RM40 per line (additional 15GB Internet per line) to their primary plan.
Celcom Mega postpaid plans also offer add-ons that will further complement consumers’ digital lifestyles.
“Celcom passport” gives consumers who love to travel a chance to “roam like home” by bringing along their local Internet quota overseas.
“Internet share” allows for sharing among family lines for only RM5 per month.
Unlimited high-speed Internet is available via “ultra hour pass” while “unlimited social” is specially for Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and late-night Internet usage.
