RM904,840 allocation to develop Terengganu’s fisheries industry

SETIU: The Fisheries Department distributed an allocation of RM904,840 to eight fishing communities (myKP) and 45 individuals involved in the aquaculture and fisheries industries in Terengganu.

Terengganu Fisheries Department director Zawawi Ali said of the total allocation, eight myKPs received RM247,800; eight fish hatchery entrepreneurs received RM120,390; six ornamental fish breeders (RM44,000) and 20 recipients received aquaculture items such as tanks, water pumps, air pumps, fish seed and feed (RM209,150).
