KUANTAN: There are only 350 homestay operators in the state who have registered their premises with local authorities.

State tourism, environment and plantations committee chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin said there were hundreds of operators who were running their businesses on a small scale and had failed to register, which was causing difficulties in monitoring their operations.
